Julie and Robbie decided to leave their home in Denver, Colorado to exchange vows overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Pismo Beach, California at The Cliffs. Perfection is what they got as they stood toe to toe in front of their family and friends under some of the bluest skies Cali has to offer.
I’m not sure if they knew it, but Julie and Robbie assembled an all-star cast.Anna Fergus kept things rolling smoothly while Barbara Koenig officiated the ceremony and Sean, from AMS, had everyone moving as he spun the music into the evening.
It was really an amazing day. Julie and Robbie’s taste for the subtle and elegant did not go unnoticed. From their simple, yet intricate floral arrangements to Julie’s sparkling blue flats and Robbie’s purple argyle socks, I was totally blown away.
Jen Slot and I managed to whisk them away for a quick photo/video session and honestly, when I got back to the edit suite, I couldn’t believe some some of the footage we nabbed. It was out-of-control a-mazing! I hope you enjoy getting to watch the little moments that made this day so special.
Jen Slot was the photographer for the day and did a wonderful job! She was so much fun to work with and her work speaks for itself. Below are some of my favorites.

Julie’s dress was amazing by itself, but when we hung it in the window overlooking the ocean, it jumped into a new level of awesomeness.

I felt so bad for Julie… This was the view from her hotel room. Rough, eh?

One of my favorite parts of wedding ceremonies is the giving away of the bride. Jen did such a wonderful job of capturing this moment.

After the ceremony we hiked down to the beach and had a quick photo/video session. The setting sun unleashed a backlight that made for some epic footage!

A graffiti-covered wall that was once an eyesore became an awesome backdrop for photos.

Robbie works for Polaris and managed to negotiate the use of a Victory motorcycle in exchange for writing about the experience! Why didn’t I think of that?

Julie and Robbie, thank you for letting us share in your wedding! You guys were such a blast to work with and made our job so much fun. Best wishes!
