Meghan + Josh ~ Chatsworth, CA ~ 3.6.10

In the past, two things came to mind when someone mentioned Chatsworth. Windows and Pest Control. Like most, I have had my fair share of ridiculous jobs, two of which were based in the Chatsworth area – driving trucks loaded with massive custom windows and selling pest control door-to-door. Until recently, those were the only memories logged in that area. Fortunately, new memories were made this month with Meghan and Josh’s ridiculously amazing wedding.

We pulled up to the ceremony location with windshield wipers swishing at full tilt. A mad dash through the rain, the removal of our shoes at the door, a run up some stairs and we were rolling. Now, for a bride who’s outdoor wedding was being moved into a tent, Meghan was totally chill. She was getting married, rain or shine, and that day, it was definitely raining.

The fact that Meghan and Josh weren’t able to have their wedding outside had no bearing on the awesomeness of the day whatsoever. Josh’s dad (who happens to be a pastor) officiated the Christ-centered and laughter-filled ceremony. I know firsthand how cool this is, since my dad married my wife and me almost three years ago. And, after the exchanging of vows, the rain let up, allowing us to get some crazy epic footage. From water drops resting on the petals of flowers to backlit rain falling off the edge of parasols, I was loving every minute.

I hope this trailer lets you catch a glimpse into the true beauty of the day. Enjoy!

Danny Baker from Epic Imagery took the pictures for the day and did a wonderful job! I encourage you to check out his work!

August 8, 2010 - 10:18 pm Josh & Meghan Lubeck - Hey Josh! Just wanted you to know that Danny has our pics up on his blog (http://www.epicimagery.com/blog/2010/03/meghan-josh-march-6-2010/). Not sure if you need to ask him for them directly, but they are there. :)

April 27, 2010 - 8:13 am Jodi Wright - I am so very impressed by this beautiful production! I'm so grateful you sent this link to me Meghan because we were not able to attend; but viewing it through this video just has me in tears of joy for you and your beloved! GOD Bless you both FOREVER! Love Jodi

April 6, 2010 - 10:22 pm Christan Parreira - Awesome job dude! You've got an amazing talent my friend.

March 26, 2010 - 9:27 am Betty - I've never seen so much kissing in a space of 4 minutes!!! I couldn't make it to the wedding, but the trailer gave me a sense that I'd missed something very special. Looks like "love" ruled the day and will keep their union. Praise God. Thanks, Josh, for catching the essence of so great a love.

March 24, 2010 - 1:27 am Josh & Meghan Lubeck - Josh, Soooo, here's the predicament we are in. It's been 10 days since we saw this trailer, and we haven't responded because we have literally been at a loss for how we are going to express the intense level of gratitude we feel, over email. I'm pretty sure Meghan has watched that video more times than we can count, and it never gets old. We can't tell you how appreciative and impressed we are at your professionalism and giftedness. It was our prayer that our wedding day be a testimony of God's love and presence, and it was such a blessing to have had you guys there to capture that evidence so completely! We can't wait to see what the full length will be like! We wish we could share with you all of the reactions of our friends and family when they have watched the trailer. Truly epic! "Thank you" seems like such a lame way to communicate our gratitude... for the trailer, and for the way God orchestrated every detail of our day. We praise God for connecting us, and for the way He has gifted you in this art. It was such a treat learning that you are a part of the body of Christ. We thought there was a good chance you were a believer, even through the few interactions we had leading up to the wedding. You guys are solid. Thanks so much for doing things the way you do. Josh and Meg

March 17, 2010 - 9:00 am Robin - I am left speechless after watching this! So powerful! Thank you! Can't wait to see the rest!

March 16, 2010 - 7:43 pm Christy McCormick - It gave me goose bumps!

March 16, 2010 - 2:42 pm Skip - Awesome. What a blessing that it was shared with so many great friends. God bless both Josh and meghan in their new life together!

March 15, 2010 - 9:26 pm ely - Just watched it on my 40" TV. HOLY MOLY that was RAD!!!

March 15, 2010 - 4:03 pm Pam - Is that all I get to see?! I can't stand the suspense! This is torture!

March 15, 2010 - 2:33 pm Chenille - Tucked in the back for the ceremony and reception, my husband and I had a perfect view to watch you work your camera wielding magic. Bravo! The day was a very special one as we were honored to watch two of our dear friends unite in marriage. We could tell from all of the cameras that this would be a very well documented event. But we couldn’t have imagined that the sharing of their vows, would turn into the epic masterpiece that they will be sharing with friends and family for years to come. What a blessing to have the gifts and talents to help magnify such a special day in a couples life! It didn't hurt to have two beautiful people fill the two lead rolls of bride and groom, either! Well done!
