Manwich. That was the name of the floor that Lee and I roomed on in college. I mention this only because Lee quickly became one of the coolest guys I’d ever met. His love for God and life was infectious, his pursuit of getting into the film program was heroic and his uncanny ability to destroy his body on a BMX bike was… well, insane.
Six months ago, I got the word that Lee was engaged. Though years had passed since he and I forced down cafeteria food and kept each other company on scary laser tag GYRADs, I knew that Paula must be top-notch to have landed Lee. Suspicions were confirmed as I followed the two around Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA. The laughter, tears and vows they shared were nothing short of epic. I hope you enjoy this look into Lee and Paula’s first New Years as husband and wife.
Photographer phenom Ely Roberts (who was also our RA in college) took the pictures for the day. Below are some of my favorites.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Paula looked absolutely stunning. I was a huge fan of the hairpiece.

I love this photo. Lee didn’t wait for the ceremony to see Paula with her “makeup and hair did.” This is the moment just after seeing his bride for the first time.

Another awesome moment.

Sealing their vows with a kiss.

Hard at work.

We found a semi-hidden lake up on a hill behind the ceremony site which made for some incredible images.

Stoked in the golf cart. Honestly, I’m surprised Lee didn’t try a turndown or end up rolling it.

Paula and Lee, I wish you both the very best in your new life as husband and wife. I have no doubt you guys are going to take the world by storm. Much love.
