These two are some of the sweetest, most original and fun-loving people you’ll ever meet. From braving slippery hillsides and climbing on antique ovens for that perfect shot to rocking a plaid shirt over a wedding dress, to the laughter and twirling in the sunset, Brooke and Jason were game for anything. You know how sometimes you meet a couple and you can’t imagine anyone else in the world more suited for the other? Yep. That’s definitely this pair.

I could type for hours about all of the incredible pieces that came together to make this day absolutely perfect, but I think the video and pictures will do a better job giving you a glimpse into a truly a-mazing wedding. Enjoy!

Our day started in the Pick & Shovel room and I knew it was going to be a good one when Laura and her girls met us with glittered hair and beaming smiles. From then on, we had a blast capturing their big day – everything from the elegant ceremony officiated by Laura’s uncle, to the heartfelt toasts in the Venetian Room, to the thumpin’ music and lighting from Bailey Entertainment and the sweet dance moves thrown down on the dance floor – it was a winter wedding of awesomeness.

I know we only spent a day with the amazing couple, but I don’t think Laura and Nathaniel could be more perfect for each other. Their love for each other and their family and friends was so unique and so special that video just doesn’t seem to quite do full justice. I only hope this glimpse into their special day gives you a taste of that love. Enjoy!

A day when time slows to a standstill as the words you are about to speak literally alter the future. And I have no doubt of the blessing that you will be in life. For you two and your families know how to cultivate and know how to build. So let us come back to the reason we are here. We gather to hear the two of you speak vows. Your promises. Before God. Before us. Staking your marital claim that love never ends.”

“Love never ends.” The weight of these words is huge. I think that’s why getting to be a part of weddings is so awesome. We get to be witnesses to that amazing moment when two lives commit themselves to each other, becoming one entity that’s stronger, more beautiful and awe-inspiring than I could ever put to words. I felt that deeply under the arches of the church and again as I watched Neil spin his new bride around on the dance floor at Elks Tower. From the live band, to the spectacular lighting to the guests’ poppin’ dance moves, this was an evening that was nothing short of extraordinary. I hope this glimpse into Stephanie and Neil’s special day evokes the same feelings I felt while we were there. Enjoy.

“Father, the beauty of this place is out-shown by the beauty of a love that a man and a woman have for each other when they stand in Your presence acknowledging that You are the one who has brought them together. You are the one who will be able to keep them together. I pray, Father, that You will intertwine their lives together and like the wine from the vineyards surrounding this place, I pray that their lives would be blended together in such a way that they produce something that is unique and wonderful.”

It was totally true. Windfall Farms is an absolutely stunning place, but it fell to a distant second when Stephanie and Steven stepped into frame. Their love for each other and their family and friends was so apparent, so intimate and so huge, that simply being there for the day made me feel like I had known everyone for years. For me, this wedding was an incredible reminder of how blessed we are to get to do this for a living. The way that Steven looked at Stephanie for the first time as she came down the aisle is what I live for – It’s the look that says, “You’re beautiful. You’re my world. You make me a better person and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.” Just as the officiant referenced the wine, I think Stephanie and Steven are two amazing people, but when joined together, they become something better, stronger and even more amazing. The fact that we get to catch all that through the lenses of our cameras just blows me away.

From the seemingly endless fields, rolling vineyards and epic horse stalls (yeah, I know… Alex Trebek had a thing for horses) this was a wedding that will have people talking for years to come. Jonnell and Niki from Events Redefined knocked it out of the park with their incredible eye for detail and organization. Seriously, working with these two is a videographer’s dream. Kramer Weddings handled the lighting and music and kept things rockin’ well into the night. It was a perfect day for a ridiculously awesome couple. Enjoy!

As we spent the day with Connie and Ron, I remember thinking how wonderful these two fit together. They were the happiest and most comfortable when they were in each other’s arms and as wedding videographers, well, we just love that! After a quick photo/video sesh on the beach, we made our way over to Ventana Grill for the reception. There, Mike from AMS kept the tunes spinning as family and friends threw down their best moves on the dance floor. A photobooth from Shutterbooth kept the good times going well into the night (Brett and I even managed to sneak one in). All in all, we had a blast getting to capture Connie and Ron’s big day and I hope you’ll find their trailer just as exciting. Enjoy!
